Domaine de Brondeau Lalande, located in the town of Pompignac, is a family property for several generations of winegrowers.
Our 7 hectares of vines benefit from very diverse grounds (deep sands and clay-limestone lands on ferruginous crass) and are planted on a particularly sunny slope favoring a quality ripening.
The grape variety (average age: 40 years) is typical of Bordeaux: Merlot 65% – Cabernet Franc 20% – Cabernet Sauvignon 10% – Malbec 5%. Our main goal has always been: a quality fruit for a quality wine!
The harvest is semi-manual or manual for certain plots. The blend of our AOC Bordeaux and Bordeaux Supérieur is very careful and very balanced. Our Bordeaux Supérieur is aged for 12 to 36 months, in oak barrel adding to its tannic structure a discreet woody, more length in the mouth, volume, fullness revealing the aromas with finesse and elegance and developing a concentrated, dense, deep with purple or ruby reflections depending on the year. It is a very robust wine, very worked on the fruit with dominance of red fruits, which has personality and volume.
It is a perfect wine for early tasting but also a very good wine for aging.
